Visit of Federal Minister Kocher at the BEV 15.09.2023 - On the 14th of September 2023 the Federal Minister responsible for the BEV, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Kocher, visited the BEV at Schiffamtsgasse

There the Minister got informed about the extensive tasks of the BEV.  The most important sectors are Cadastre, Surveying, Geoinformation, Market Surveillance and Metrology.

In his speech in front of the gathered staff the Minister honored the achievements of the BEV for economy and society and the commitment of the employees.

Following the speech, the Minister talked very openly and personally with several employees and both sides learned a lot about each other. At the center were the apprentices at the BEV. As far as the training of apprentices is concerned the BEV has taken up a leading role and has at the moment about 100 apprentices in different professions to train.
