Expert exchange with Bavaria 17.10.2023 - An important concern of BEV - the exchange with our neighbors. So it was a special pleasure to welcome colleagues from Bavaria to the Vienna headquarters.

Three colleagues from the Bavarian Agency for Digitisation, High-Speed Internet and Surveying were guests at BEV from 16 - 18 October 2023.

BEV presents itself

The BEV provided information about the new BEV structure and the challenges of recruiting employees. The increasingly complex and extensive IT requirements were also discussed.

Data collection and products

The main aim of the visit was to exchange ideas between the remote sensing experts from BEV and their Bavarian colleagues. This involved the acquisition of data and its evaluation. The derivation of products in connection with aerial images and laser scanner images was also discussed. Own solution approaches were presented and upcoming problems were discussed.
