Star of Styria 31.10.2023 - The Wirtschaftskammer Steiermark honored an apprentice of the BEV and his place of work, the Surveying Office Leibnitz, with a “Star of Styria“ for their outstanding performance. Further evidence for the successes of the apprenticeship training of the BEV - Bundesamt für Vermessungswesen.
The Wirtschaftskammer Steiermark annually honors the best apprenticeship graduates and their training companies. The BEV is one of the model companies here. Currently 95 apprentices (as of 31.12.2022) are being trained nationwide, primarily in technical professions. The proportion of women is 38% - which is particularly pleasing given the technical orientation of the training. In 2022, half of the new apprentices were female.
Promotion of Rural Areas
Of the 95 apprentices (as of 31.12.2022), 74 apprentices are being trained in the decentralized offices of the BEV. Thus the BEV uses its presence in all districts of Austria to strengthen rural areas. It is also important to the BEV to provide its services not only digitally on the Internet but also on site at the customer service points.
Success at the Surveying Office Leibnitz
Now the BEV can celebrate with Angelika Koch as she won this years "Star of Styria". She passed her final apprenticeship exam with distinction in spring 2023. The Surveying Office Leibnitz and thus the BEV are honored by the award.
